Autoresponder

What is an autoresponder?  Well an autoresponder is a software program which lets you automatically send emails to people who have subscribed.

Most autoresponders require a double optin process.  They sign up and are sent a link to confirm their subscription.  Without the double opt in, they will not receive any of the emails.  This process is designed to remove the accusation of possibility of Spam.  But even with the double opt in process you will probably be accused of Spamming.  People forget they signed up or they just want out.

The big advantage of the autoresponder is that you can set up a series of emails to be sent out some time in the future.  Set the emails up and forget it.  Quite a time saver.
