Buying Stage of Discovery
This is the second stage of the buying process. After you become aware that you have a problem, you move into the stage of discovery.
So what happens in the discovery stage? You do your research of potential products to solve your problem. You learn as much as you can about the potential solutions.
What Does This Mean For My Website?
You need to present your solution for their problem. You need to extensively document how it will solve their problem and why they should choose your product. Remember to sell benefits not features.
For Example
You sell an ebook that will solve someones weight problem. Your website reader knows he/she needs to loose weight. They are aware of their problem. Now you need to write about the benefits of your ebook and how it is the best solution for their weight problem.
If you do a good job, when they go to the next stage of the buying process, your product will be considered one of the possible solutions for their problem.
