Hosting Account

Well you have a domain name.  So what do you do with it?  You need a website the domain name will point to.

Before you get a website you need a hosting account where your website will live.  Hosting accounts can cost between around $4.00/month to over $200.00 per month and higher.  You only need a Linux hosting account for one or more domains.  You should be spending less than $10.00 per month for that.

Once you have found your hosting account and purchased it, the first thing you need to do is save everything you get from them.  You will get the names of name servers used in your account.  These name servers need to be used inside your domain name.  So login to your domain name account and change the name serves to the ones your hosting account uses.

Now you are set to create a website.
