Landing Page

Ok you have an autoresponder, your emails are all set to go out and you know what you will entice them to sign up with, now what?

You need a special landing page or squeeze page to get people to sign up for your list.  Get the sign up code from your autoresponder.  You can place that code on the page.  But the rest of the page needs to be devoted to the reader receiving the benefits of subscribing.  You need to persuade them that the benefits of subscribing are too good to pass up.

Remember you are selling the benefits of joining your list not the features.  "What's in it for me" from the readers perspective is very important.

Also you need to reassure them that you will not share or sell their email addresses if in fact your privacy policy states that.  People don't like Spam and giving out your email address may lead to Spam so show them that you will not Spam them nor give their information to anyone else.

This landing page has but one purpose.  Its purpose is to get people to sign up for the list.
