Why build a list?
What is so important to me the business owner of an autoresponder and list?
I asked that question on the last post. Do you know the answer?
Hopefully you do, but if not here is the answer. When people know, like, and trust you they will buy from you. When they are in your store or on your website, you have a chance to build a relationship. But what about all the time in between? That's where the list comes in.
You can build your relationship with your list without them coming to your site or store and you can do this automatically. Plus you can market to your list. If you have a great sale going on you can email blast your list with the announcement before it starts. Do they get to hear the announcements before anyone else? Perhaps you should consider that. Your list becomes a list of special people/customers. Treat them special.
